Sometimes it's so easy to dismiss this place.. to focus on all the things it ISN'T and forget what it actually is. For all of its faults and misgivings and lack of focus on art, every time i surf the web for inspiration or instruction I always end up coming back here because nowhere else on the net gives me as much exposure to inspiration as dA.

SO i just want to share some of that inspiration right back.... check out the old man on scratchboard.. holy shit! Have you any idea how difficult scratchboard is?! I'm.. so amazed... and now i'm gonna run off and see if i can create something of my own
